Nice traditional kopitiam that serves some nice nasi Padang. We had headed quite late (around 2:30PM), and they were about to wrap up their wares. The chicken was soft and tender. Curry mixed well with the rice. The fish was a bit chewy but tasty. Fresh bean sprouts and nice sambal and veggies too. Ais milo to go with it was good!

This hole in the wall is my go to place for a satisfying meal of Nasi Padang. Prices are reasonable. Their cooking style is slanted towards the Indonesian style. My favourite are beef rendang @ rm5/cube. Chicken rending @ rm5 for a big meat portion. Tofu tempe fried w long beans. Their curry gravy are cooked to perfection w right spices n not too salty. Do note dishes get sold out fast and usually by 215pm they will packup n go. Not forgetting d kopitiam's kopi n home cooked barley drink are also nice. Just as important tat everyone here are very friendly.

Very skilful and legendary half boiled egg. The freshness is beyond words. As if the hens baru lay eggs at back alley n fresh from farm to table. No joke. Nvr know half boiled egg can be this delicious until I encountered this shop. N tat nasi Padang, pls pls pls try the beef tendon, I dunno how they simmer it to be so balance on the notes of being soft yet chewy. If u don’t take beef, rendang chicken is on point for the spices, like u won’t taste curry powder but herbs, imagine that omg. Last but not least, the minced chilli paste (not sambal) just bring all flavours to heaven. Limited seats, be patient to wait, quick turnover. Prices r listed on wall including individual dishes for nasi Padang, egg, drinks, roti bakar etc for your reference. Difficult parking nearby so can park at UTC n walk over. It’s a very harmony 1 Malaysia shop. Nasi Padang uncle was sharing how sweet his customers had been following him to wherever he moved to n bringing next generation. I definitely see the reason behind loyalty. If u read this review, it’s ur destiny to give this shop a try.

In an enclave full of pretentious cafes with cookie-cutter menus, Qin Garden is a breath of fresh air. No-frills, old-school, and focused on good food. I loved my bowl of beehoon soto: the broth was clear, the towgay plump and charming, and the chilli in the tin cup was a telltale sign I was in for a proper meal. Watching the kopi uncle tarik my teh C added the perfect nostalgic touch to a satisfying dining experience. I’ll definitely be back to try the nasi padang!
